This HCPC hearing is set down for a week in August: Quote: While registered as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist with the HCPC, you: 1. On 19 February 2009, produced a report purporting to analyse the gait and biomechanics of suspect A for Greater Manchester Police, and you: a) Noted that the suspect had a ‘narrow base of gait’ in material where the view of the suspect?s gait was obscured b) Incorrectly illustrated ‘head poke’ with pictures of the suspect standing rather than walking; c) Inappropriately gave comments on the shape of the suspect’s shoulder and narrow pelvis which are not gait observations; and d) Incorrectly inferred that gait evidence can be used to identify an individual when it can only be used as class level evidence.
