Sharp, shooting pain to first toes right foot

I have been experiencing a sharp, shooting pain mostly to the bottom of the first 3 toes of my right foot, off and on. The pain is severe and only last a short while; a few minutes. It has happened more times while I’m driving home from work in the morning.
