Patients 5th metatarsal 2cm longer than the other

I was looking at a patient and thought ,Blimey they have a long 5th Met , out came the tape measure and I found the “long ” one was 9cm and the “short” one was 7cm .Before i start measuring every patients 5th met ,is this unusual? Tim
