Pain in top of Foot

Was under the Physo due to major knee surgery (opposite side to foot pain) and she thought that I may have a stress fracture and sent me to A&E. Had x-ray taken but showed nothing. Was still in an awful lot of pain so phyio rang my doctor and expressed her concer.
