Metatarsal stress fractures secondary to soft-tissue osteochondroma in the foot: Case report and literature review

Diagnosis is challenging however, as the differential includes malignancy. As simple excision is curative, early recognition by clinical and radiological evaluation will help avoid unnecessary surgery.
