Abstract: The purpose of the present study was to identify changes in the range of motion during the first year after placement of the Salto-Talaris total ankle implant. The first 97 cases were assessed throughout the year at 6 weeks and 3, 6, and 12 months. Data were extracted through retrospective chart review, operative reports, and electronic goniometry of the implant in maximal dorsiflexion and plantarflexion
