Clinical Importance Versus Statistical Significance, and Correcting the Scientific Literature

Although I do want to first congratulate the authors for undertaking the type of high level of evidence clinical trial that is often lacking within our literature, I also did want to respectfully question, and ask for clarification on, their definition and use of the term clinically significant [Jay RM, Malay DS, Landsman AS, Jennato N, Huish J, Younger M. Dual-component intramedullary implant versus Kirschner wire for proximal interphalangeal joint fusion: a randomized controlled clinical trial.
