APTA section funds geriatrics research

The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) announced in April a $50,000 donation to the Foundation for Physical Therapy from the APTA’s Section on Geriatrics. The Section on Geriatrics earmarked $25,000 for the Marilyn Moffat Endowment Fund for Geriatric Research, which was established in 2007 and supports emerging investigators who are seeking ways to move their research findings into current physical therapy practice with aging adults
