APTA issues exercise guidelines for obese kids

The American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) scientific journal, Physical Therapy , in June published guidelines for providing safe and effective exercise interventions for children with obesity. The new recommendations, provided by the Belgian Physical Therapy Association (AXXON), are intended for physical therapists who treat children and adolescents in private practice or home-care settings.
